» Getting There
Air
Bristol International Airport, 20 minutes drive
south of the city beside the main A38 road, serves both
international and domestic flights. A non-stop bus
service provides easy connection from the airport to the
downtown area, and taxis are plenty. There are also many
car rental companies inside the airport.
Train
Bristol is served by two main-line train stations;
Temple Meads for the city center and Bristol Parkway for
the North of the city. There are frequent services
between both stations and London. The journey takes a
little over an hour.
Bus
Bristol and the outlying area is served by an excellent
bus system. National Express buses depart every hour
during the day from London's Victoria Coach Station.
Car
If you're driving, head west from London on the M4.

The city center of Bristol is largely pedestrianized and
make it very pleasant to explore on foot. However, there
is also a comprehensive bus network as well as taxi to
flag anywhere in the city.
