London is a celebrated capital that is synonymous with England itself, and no wonder a major travel destination that everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime. Edinburgh is situated on the east coast of Scotland, on the plain of the River Forth with volcanic hills scattered about, some of the most prominent are Arthur's Seat and Castle Rock. The city is divided into the Old Town and the New Town, relative to the date of their developments, with the Royal Mile dominating the center. The climate in Edinburgh in general is 3-4 degrees cooler than in the south of England, but there are equal chance of sun and rain throughout the year.
